Stringent policies governing claiming of movable and immovable properties in India and avoidance of frauds is creating a lot of hardships and problems upon Indian Expats/ NRI’s/ Indians in accessing their assets in India. There may be a situation when the name/details of the recorded owner of a property in the concerned records does not match with the KYC Documents of such person, which might create an impediment for such person in accessing and claiming such property. In such a situation, Gazette of India Notifications are required, which are published by Department of Publication and are printed by the Government of India Printing Presses. This is an authorized legal document of Government of India and can be accessed free of cost by the general public being available in the public domain.
